How to Ban players on your Left4Dead Server

In Game​

  1. Open the console by pressing the ` key.
  2. Type sm_admin
  3. Press the 1 key
  4. You are now presented with various player management commands, simply press the 4 key then the player and you will ban them.

Via Control Panel​

Once on the main screen of the control panel, in the console type the command, 

sm_ban <player username> <duration()> [reason]

This will ban the player, Note: to permanently ban the player, in duration enter 9999999

If you want to un-ban the player enter the command, 

sm_unban <steamID/IP>

This will unban the player.

You are now able to Ban and Un-Ban players on your Left4Dead server.
